Humayun's Tomb - Charbagh Mausoleum
Humayun Tomb is a first of its kind mausoleum and Persian style garden tomb made by Mughals in Delhi. Over the centuries; tomb is an inspiration for the several major architectural surprises including Taj Mahal. This best preserved heritage monument commissioned by Humayun’s first wife Bega Begum, in 1558 and designed by two Persian architects Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son Sayyid Muhammad.
